Harriford Grange has become such a special place. I first created it as an escape for myself from the frustration of infertility and waiting on an adoption, but now, it has become a world in which many of you also find comfort and enjoyment. I never dreamed that my little stories would be so popular, but for that I am thankful.

When looking at possibilities for some merchandise, I decided that this series would best be accompanied by a jewelry collection. I am somewhat limited in my options, but I’ve put a lot of thought and care into the pieces I’ve chosen. I started with the Horse Head earrings and necklace, but when deciding on pieces for each of the four stories in Volume 1, I decided that words would best express their themes.
“Exquisite” comes from The Doctor’s Daughter and is the first impression which Dr. Colm Byrne has of Miss Edith Caldwell. This word encapsulates the whole tale because he spends the whole story trying to convince her of his love and attraction. How often do we ladies ignore the compliments of our husbands or boyfriends because we don’t see what they see? I know I do sometimes. Guys, may this necklace or bracelet be a reminder to her that she is your heart’s desire.
“Beauty” is how Ian Tiffany sees Louisa Musgrave in The Farrier’s Girl. Even though she annoys the time out him, he is still attracted to her outward beauty. Through their ordeal, he discovers her inner beauty which she has kept locked behind her prejudice against him. An unlikely couple if there ever was one.
“Healed” is the end theme of The Butcher’s Lady, a tale of harassment and abuse. Thomas Wilcox seeks not only to save Tilly Grant from her abuser but also to help her heal from the trauma. So many of us have also endured trials which we thought would break us. Only by the grace of God did we survive and eventually thrive.
“Redeemed” perfectly describes Lucas Kerrington in The Shopkeeper’s Love. This is the first piece inspired by a man that I have written. Prior to this, all of my main motivation has been on the girl’s side. While Colm, Ian, and Thomas all have their own struggles, none compared to Lucas. He is by far my favorite character of Volume 1. I love him and his story because it gives me so much hope for myself and others. There is no situation too terrible or deed so horrific that God cannot heal or forgive.
Lastly, I decided to add some basic “love” themed necklaces because, you know, they’re romances!
